What is UlissExchange?
UlissExchange is an Italian project that takes shape within a global community , made up of people from every corner of the world.
It is a meeting place for those driven by curiosity, initiative, and the desire to explore and learn about new cultures.
Joining the Ulisse community means embarking on a journey of growth, where you'll have the opportunity to improve your English, gain work experience abroad, and enrich your cultural background.
Our story
Our story was born from an infinite curiosity about the world . In 2023, I decided to personally undertake the Work & Travel experience in the United States, driven by the desire to discover new worlds and improve my English .
However, I was initially held back by both my language preparation and my limited funds. After extensive online research, I found the program that seemed perfect for my needs: it would allow me to work , finance my program and travel , learn English on the spot, and have a cultural exchange experience .
In Italy, this program is still little known and doesn't have the impact it should have, which is why the idea of creating an international community made up of people who have now become my best friends was born years ago.
Thanks to our partnership with an American organization , this idea took shape, and by sharing ideas from around the world, UlissExchange was born. Our community offers you the opportunity to live this experience, with a wide range of choices, among over 2,000 jobs available throughout the United States .
We'll provide you with comprehensive pre- and post-departure support, and with our Ulysses, you'll be able to connect with and meet other students who, like you, are about to embark on this unforgettable experience. Nothing more to say except: become the new Ulysses!

WHERE EVERYTHING STARTED...
My name is Salvatore, or Salvo to my friends abroad.
My adventure began in the classrooms of Federico II in Naples, where I enrolled in Management Engineering with the still undefined dream of building a solid future for myself.
However, between postponed exams and lost semesters, I felt inside that I was not truly living. I needed something that would shake me, surprise me, and make me feel alive.
In Italy, studying at university often means sacrifices, renunciations, impossible schedules, and dreams put on hold. Working and living at the same time seems almost forbidden.
Our Team
In this section we have the honor of introducing ourselves to you.
Years ago, we set out amidst a thousand uncertainties, when almost no one in Italy knew about these programs. We were three of the very few to have experienced Work & Travel in the United States.
That adventure changed us, pushing us to overcome boundaries, not only geographical ones, but also the deepest and most intrinsic ones of our personal lives.
"To see what's beyond" is what drives us today to give our all, every day, to ensure that those who dream big can continue to do so with their eyes wide open.
